Yum, toes!

Tonight we discovered that toes are yummy! We've been wondering how long it would take her to put them in her mouth, looks like we have our answer.

When I started taking this video I thought she was going to eat her toes but she got a little sidetracked and became more interested in my hand.

Savannah learned this week that she can squeal, we tried to warn her that she was going to lose her voice but apparently she didn't listen. She has very mixed emotions about it as you'll see in the video.

Exersaucer, part 2

I'm continually amazed at how quickly she learns things! A couple weeks ago she could barely reach the toys, now she knows how to make them work and can spin completely around!

Halloween and FL/GA

Savannah spent the morning and afternoon of her first Halloween at her first ever Cocktail Party (aka FL/GA tailgate)! It was really funny to me that people asked how old she was and followed it up with asking if it was her first FL/GA. You'd think that since it only happens once a year it would be obvious, I think I might be expecting too much out of drunks.

Clearly all the tailgating wore her out!

After all the excitement of tailgating it was time to put on her costume, pose for a few dozen pictures and hand out candy to the neighbors!

Is this not the cutest little lion you've ever seen?

Pumpkins are hard to carve! I hope that Savannah doesn't expect us to be able to carve masterpieces.

4 months!

Savannah officially turned 4 months old on October 27th, where has the time gone?! She had her second round of vaccinations and thankfully did not have the adverse side effects like she did before. She weighed in at 14 lbs., 11.8 oz (75th percentile) and she was 24 1/2 inches long (50th percentile), they said her growth curve looked perfect. I am also happy to report that she gained all of her weight exclusively on breast milk, go mommy!

We did ask about giving her rice cereal in hopes that she would start sleeping a bit longer at night but the doctor stressed that they like to wait until 6 months to start any kind of solids. She doesn't think rice cereal will make a difference in her sleeping but she said that if we wanted to try it we could.

Pumpkin Patch

Waaaay back on October 24 we went to the pumpkin patch and let Savannah pick out her first pumpkin! Well, we actually picked them out but she gave her seal of approval. She fell asleep in the car on the way to the pumpkin patch so she was still a little sleepy for the pictures.

She really wanted nothing to do with the camera...

Once Upon A Time...

I had time to blog! Our internet was down at home for a few days but the Comcast guy came last night (45 minutes past his 2 hour window) so we're back up and running. And for the rest of the week I'll be chained to my sewing machine in preparation for the craft fair this weekend. Excuses, excuses.

Coming soon to a blog near you...
